Due to COVID-19, a question that many parents and students ask themselves is how will school be held so that it is safe and available to everyone.
During these past weeks, the county of Miami-Dade decided that it would be best for students to attend school until further notice. Miami Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is committed to making the soundest decisions regarding the reopening of schools. School will be officially starting on August 31st, 2020.
This school year will require students and parents/families to adapt learn new ways of working with distance learning. However, the week of August 24th, Miami Dade County will be having a “Miami Week of Welcome”. Parents and students should also be constantly in contact with their school’s website for any additional information.

Miami Week of Welcome will include some steps on how to best use the site, My School Online!, to answer any questions and inform families of useful information to assist in a successful 2020-2021 school year.

Learn all you need to know about accessing and succeeding in My School Online! Topics in this category include: Devices and Connectivity, Student Email Accounts, Cyber Safety, and Digital Citizenship.

Academic success hinges on students’ overall well-being. This series of modules includes important information and tips related to mental health, nutrition and exercise, and social-emotional learning.
